| This was all taken before mile marker 51 which marks the end of the line now days. This track hardly sees a train anymore and when it does it's normally local P22 and I think it comes through here once a week at the most but if I can ever get lucky to catch it out here one day that would be nice. The track isn't in the best condition but I guess it serves it's small modern purpose now days. Back in 1833 when this line first opened the best friend of Charleston operated on this line but now it is only used as a spur line for companies that need the railroad and you've probably seen in a more recent post that the line ends at mile marker 51 which is where it has ended since the 1980's. |
